Day 30

I got more Fluff today!! I ordered some Kawaii Baby Diapers from Linda Auge and they came in today. Who ever would have thought that getting cloth diapers in the mail would excited a 34 year old woman so much. But really, aren't they cute. I can't wait to wash them and see Ethan toddle around in them.

Day 29

Today my sweet Jacob is 4 years old. Time is flying by so quickly. Seems like just yesterday he was born. I love my little helper. I hope he has a fantastic day.

Day 28

Ethan is a mess! Literally. He is tall and can reach up pretty high on the counter. Yesterday he reached a box of cereal and proceeded to dump the entire box out on the floor. I had already swept up most of it but decided to snap this picture before I got the rest. What a little ham! He is saying cheese as he is snacking on his mess :)

Day 27

I am sick. And I am out of my dayquil (walgreens version). Now I am going to have to drink the nasty alka-seltzer. End of whine-fest. Carry on.

Day 26

Yesterday we were just sitting around watching tv and cuddling when the power went out. It was pitch black in my house. It was kind of nice w/just candles and my babies. Except the kids ran into things a lot more. ;)

Day 25

Tonight I made Dirty Rice for the first time. I gotta say, I was worried. I have never even thought about making it. But it was easy. And it was SOOOO Yummy.

Maybe now I will move on to Red Beans and Rice and then I might tackle Gumbo and Jambalaya.

Day 24

Two images today. I could not decide. I went to Curves this morning. I added the Couch 25K app on my phone. So This is what I did in 30 minutes. I alternated running/jogging 60 seconds and brisk walking for 1 minute 30 seconds. I am hoping it gets easier.

Then this afternoon the storms rolled in. This is what it looked like before it started pouring. I enjoyed the storms but I heard there were tornados that touched down. One even hit a house of an acquaintance of mine. Thankful that we were spared but concerned and praying for those that weren't.

Day 23

Today was PWOC. It stands for Protestant Women of the Chapel. It is every Tuesday at Main Post Chapel on Fort Polk. We have fellowship, food, and praise and worship. After all that we separate to have Bible Study. It is mainly for Military Wives but they don't mind civilians coming either. Yay for me!!!

Day 22

I am clumsy by birth. I was trying to use a ceramic pampered chef knife to get a label off something and i stabbed myself. It hurt and I bled a lot (at least in my opinion). And it is pretty deep (again, in my opinion ). My mom came over and patched me up.. I guess at almost 35 I still need my mommy.

Tonight I dropped the kids off at First Baptist Church Rosepine's Kid Zone for Awana. I LOVE this church. I miss FBC -DeRidder mainly because of the people that I have loved there for 5 + years. But I really love FBC-Rosepine.

Anyway, this is the sign I see when I am taking the kids in to their classes.

After I dropped them off I went into the sanctuary for Bible study.

My poor Travis. He was so sad today. He thought he was going to his PawPaws house. I called and got no answer. He cried most of the day. I called some more. Still no answer. I did not know what to do to make his little heart feel better. He had lots of hugs instead.

I am a hot-natured person. I like to be cold. This is how hot it got in the house today. Well, actually it ended up being 78, but this is the pic i snapped. I was miserable. The air was on full blast too. Not sure what is going on there. But I can't complain. I have a house, I have food, I have air, I have more than so many people. So even though I was hot I am still blessed more than I know.

Today was my baby's FIRST Dentist Appointment. I know I am probably nutty but he is my last child so all these First's of his are the last firsts.

He did so well. He did not even have to sit on my lap. He laid there on the chair and let her brush is teeth and check his teeth. I was so proud!!

It is the little things that make me happy. Who would have thought a canister with a pig on it would tickle me to bits? I bought this can last weekend at Papa D's Trade Days. I had previously been putting my cooking grease in anything I could find and then throwing it out. I got this cute little can for a dollar. Woohoo! I have yet to use it but I know I will and I can't wait to. It's the little things!

I love sunsets. Like I said in a previous post, I think God puts them there for our enjoyment. It was so nice driving home from my inlaws and seeing this beautiful sky.

Tonight was FANTASTIC. I had a group of friends over to play Bunco. I was worried the whole day that we would not have enough people (you need 12 to play). God took care of us because we had 12.

It was so much fun. Even in my small house w/everyone cramped it will still great.

I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Instead of winning money the winners went home w/Thirty-One Gifts.

The Grand prize was a Skirt Purse w/a Skirt.

I can't wait until the next game.

Well, I did it.. I missed a day. I am frustrated and aggravated at myself but I am going to get over it. Instead of my photo project ending on Jan 1, 2013 it will end on Jan 2, 2013. That way it will still be 365 days of photos..

Well, I cannot choose between photos today. So there are going to be two..

The other day I was so proud of my new Keurig. I just knew I was going to love it. Nope.. We hate it. I can't get a good cup of coffee out of it. I have tried all kinds of different measurements. It is just awful. Too strong. Oh well, its going back as soon as I can get it there.

I had a favorite pair of rainbow flip flops. Love them. Can't find them. So while I was at Walmart I found these. Not that pretty but cheap so that made me happy. Yay for cheap slippers. LOL

It was a good day. I went to Papa D's Trade Days in McNary, LA. I ended up selling $31 which I thought was pretty snazzy. PawPaw and Granny (My In-laws) watched Ethan while I was at the trade days. Ethan had such a good time. I ended up leaving early because it was slow so I got to see my little man playing. My boys love it there so much.

Well here it is, our new coffee pot. We got a Keurig. I plugged it in and test drove it and so far I am not impressed. I can't seem to get a good cup of coffee out of it. We are picky and don't like our coffee too strong. I guess I will keep working on it. Maybe it just needs a little tweaking. Thankfully I got it on sale. Yeeesh.

I was going out early this evening to pick up payments for some orders I had recently placed for customers and to pick up something from a friend. This is the view of the sunset I had. To me it's spectacular. The picture does not even do it justice.

I love sunsets. I think God paints the sky in vibrant, beautiful colors to make His Children happy.

I thank God for the things he does to make His children happy.

I have decided to dive into the world of cloth diapering my 18th month old. I have fallen in love with all the cute patterns and the vivid solids.

It is not as difficult or as messy as you would think. We put the solid waste where it goes (in the potty) and wash the diapers in the washing machine. Easy peasy.

I love that I am saving money and putting one less piece of trash into the environment. We are even using cloth wipes.

I gave blood today. This is what I saw when I first walked in. I had Ethan and Jacob with me so I really did not think I would be able to do it. I was shocked. They sat there and behaved up until the last 5 minutes. Yay for little miracles.

I made my first ever Deco Mesh Wreath today. It turned out O-K in my opinion. I have to go buy some decorations to put on it. I think it will be kind of cute on my door for Mardi Gras.

I might try my hand at making some more. I think each time it will get easier and I will get better at it.

I must be old because it seems so weird to me to write 2012.

Travis sat with me in church this morning. The whole service he sat quietly drawing while the pastor was preaching. I was so proud of him.

This is what he drew. I was amazed. Those ghost like shapes are people kneeling at the cross.
